Alan,
I recently sent my K80 stock to Krieghoff in Ottsville to be refinished (gloss finish). I am guessing that they used urethrane finish or whatever their standard finish is.
My question is: How long should I wait before putting a coat of wax on it and does anything else need to be done to it to keep it looking good? Thanks, JWise.

The high gloss finish done by KI should not require any maintenance as it is waterproof. A wax coating will not help this and will not improve the appearance. The only mainteneance I can recommend is to try not to knock it.
