 Krieghoff becomes official Partner of the 50th ISSF World Shooting Championships in Munich
Peter Braß, Managing Director of Krieghoff and Josef Ambacher, President of the The German Shooting Federation (DSB), the host organizing committee of the 2010 ISSF World Championship signed a sponsoring agreement in Munich today making Krieghoff an official partner of the 50th ISSF World Shooting Championships for shotgun events.
The renowned sporting and hunting firearms factory has built a worldwide fanbase with their legendary K-80. Founded in Suhl, Germany in 1886, the company moved to Ulm after WWII and continued to make rifles and shotguns of highest precision.
The DSB is the host of the 2010 World championships and the largest German shooting association and the fourth largest sports association with more than 1.5 million members and more than 15.000 clubs. The DSB is glad to have found such a well known and respected partner in Krieghoff, said Ambacher. Peter Braß, himself a successful former Trap shooter and member of the German National Team, called
the World Championship the most important shooting event next to the Olympics: "It is a great honor and pleasure for Krieghoff, to sponsor this important event for shooters around the globe."
The 50th World Championship will be held from July 29th until August 8th 2010 in Munich, Germany.
