World DTL Championship - South Africa

Congratulations to K-80 shooters on their success at the World DTL Championships in South Africa.

Nick McKeown who was joint High Gun on 897 ex 300. Nick finished as Runner-Up after a shoot off having one second barrel more than World Champion D Nicholls of Australia. Well done Nick and fantastic shooting over the Championship.

Emma Wheeldon, Ladies World Champion on 887 putting her 7 points clear of Runner-Up D Swanton of South Africa. Emma started the event with a perfect 300, her 4th 100/300, and her total score placed her equal 19th overall out of a total entry of 318.

Paul Chaplow who finished 6th on 894 achieving his 60th 100/300 in the last 100 of the Championship. Paul and Ian Mullarkey (889, equal 13th) were also part of the Gold Medal winning England Team.

John Winn, runner-up in the Veterans on 885 behind Tony Dore. Also part of the Gold Medal winning Veterans Team.
