Pete Usher won the World 28 gauge Skeet Championship at San Antonio, Texas.
It was fitting for Peter to win the 28g Championship as this event was sponsored by Krieghoff. Well Done Pete!
In the same event, Stu Fairbank, a long time Krieghoff shooter, finished in runner-up position. Stu was inducted into the NSSA Hall of Fame only the previous week.
Todd Bender won the HOA after a perfect 550x550. Todd actually tied with Wayne Mayes also on 550 and wanted both to be designated co-winners. NSSA rules do not allow this so a shoot off was called for. As Todd and Wayne are good friends they declined to shoot off and so the the winner was decided by the toss of a coin, leaving Todd the winner.
The .410 Championship was also won by Todd Bender.
